| Luca Manzi has abandoned his affluent life as a doctor in Rome, and now works in a ramshackle hospital in Kenya. When his life-long friend Mario surprises him by showing up in Africa to assist him with his new life and career, Luca welcomes the idea of someone familiar - but soon, it becomes apparent that Mario may have had ulterior criminal reasons for hastily leaving Italy.
