Their long, harrowing ride over bad roads with their cargo ready to explode at every jolt and jar; the drivers are gambling with their very lives against the opportunity to escape from their steaming, sordid environment. Remade in 1977 by William Friedkin (following "The Exorcist,") as "Sorcerer."
